Education: Dr. Spiaggia is the founder and Clinic Director of Performance
Rehabilitation. He is a New Jersey licensed and Board Certified chiropractic physician credentialed
by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree at
Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, with
honors, from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY.
Expertise: Dr. Spiaggia's area of expertise is conservative, non-surgical treatment of acute and
chronic spinal and extremity disorders, with a clinical focus on herniated discs, spinal
rehabilitation and sports injuries. He is certified in Cox flexion/distraction, DRX 9000 Spinal
Decompression Therapy and Manipulation Under Anesthesia. He has attended post-graduate seminars in
Chiropractic Biophysics, Activator Methods and Active Release Technique. He was recently selected
as one of America's top Chiropractic Physicians by his peers for 2009.
Past Working Experience: Dr. Spiaggia is a former Associate Clinical Professor at New York
Chiropractic College. He has been working in private practice since 2000. Dr. Spiaggia is currently
a member of the American Chiropractic Association and New Jersey Chiropractic Association.
Special Interests: Married with three children, Dr. Spiaggia resides in Annandale, NJ.
During his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, being active with his church and is
also an avid motorcyclist.

Education: Dr. Paul Abend is the Medical Director at Performance Rehabilitation. He completed his Bachelor of Science Degree at Drew University and received his Medical Degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry - New Jersey (UMDNJ). He is a Clinical Assistant Professor, achieved a Fellowship in Sports Medicine, and holds Board Certifications in both Family Practice and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Expertise: Dr. Abend is a Physiatrist, specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His clinical focus is on non-surgical spinal treatment, sports injuries and neuropathy. Dr Abend has also pioneered The Neuropathy and Balance Center at Performance Rehabilitation which utilizes Micro Vas Therapy for the treatment of all types of neuropathies .He has held several positions within the New Jersey Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and most recently, was selected by his peers as one of the top doctors in the nation, in his specialty.
Special Interest: Dr. Paul Abend lives in Warren, NJ, with his wife and three children.
Education: Dr. Rizvi earned his bachelors of science in biology and his doctor of physical therapy (DPT) from Seton Hall University as a Dean's list student. He has worked in several outpatient and inpatient settings with orthopedic and neurological injuries ranging from sports injuries to brain trauma. He is also certified as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) by the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM). Dr Rizvi is licensed to practice in NJ and NY.
Expertise: Dr. Rizvi practices evidence-based manual therapy with the use of the Maitland method to treat all orthopedic and neurological injuries. The Maitland approach to clinical reasoning is widely considered one of the cornerstones of modern day Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Dr Rizvi is also well-trained in post-operative care, vestibular/neurological rehab and pain management.

Education: Dr. Martin is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. While there he participated in various elective education courses to supplement his Chiropractic education. For his undergraduate education, he completed his BA from Rowan University in Glassboro NJ. Dr. Martin is Board Certified Chiropractic Physician from the National and New Jersey Boards of Chiropractic Examiners.
Expertise: Dr. Martin has training in advanced evaluation and treatment of sports injuries and rehab with continuing education in extremity care and functional movement screening and assessment. He has had numerous opportunities to provide Chiropractic care to athletes in on-field support roles at bike and running races, as well as triathlons and rugby matches.
Special Interest: Dr. Martin is married with two children and a dog. He enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family.
Education: Dr. Mejia completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he received a B.S. in Biology. He then earned his medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and fellowship-trained in Interventional Pain/Musculoskeletal Medicine. He holds medical licenses in both the state of New Jersey as well as New York.
Expertise: Dr. Mejia is board certified in Physiatry, a medical specialty also known as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). He is also fellowship-trained in interventional pain management. After completing his residency at NYU/Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation, he received fellowship training in Interventional Pain/Musculoskeletal Medicine at UMDNJ/Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.
Special Interests: Dr. Mejia resides in Clifton, NJ and is married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys photography, playing basketball, and spending time with his family.
Education: Dr. Hussain completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at Rutgers University, and completed his Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Chiropractic degrees at National University of Health Sciences in Illinois. While completing his internship at National University, Dr. Hussain was a teaching assistant for chiropractic technique labs. He was also a team member of chiropractic research projects. Dr. Hussain is a New Jersey licensed and Board Certified chiropractic physician, credentialed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Expertise: Dr. Hussain's area of expertise is conservative treatment for acute and chronic spinal disorders including spinal disc herniation. He is certified in cervical and lumbar Flexion/Distraction technique. Dr. Hussain enhanced his education and professional experience by attending seminars and post-graduate courses in Activator Technique, Manipulation Under Anesthesia, DRX 9000 Decompression Therapy, and Electrodiagnostic Studies.
Special Interests: Residing in Hillsborough, NJ, Dr. Hussain is married with one child. When not at the office he enjoys spending time with his family.

Education: Andy Koser received his Masters of Physical Therapy from the College of Staten Island in Staten Island, NY.
Past Working Experience: Andy has worked in more than 50 outpatient offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Areas of Expertise: Andy specializes in post surgical physical therapy such as rotator cuff and labral repairs. He also specializes in the treatment for low back dysfunction. Andy's personal philosophy is to treat the patient the way he himself would want to be treated.
Special Interests: An avid animal lover, Andy cares for two rescued beagles at home.
Education: Laide Olaogun graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science and concentration in Athletic Training. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC).
Past Working Experience: Laide has experience working with a variety of patients and clients, ranging from injured individuals to High School and Division 1 College athletes. Her areas of expertise include athletic taping and exercise prescription.
Special Interests: Laide leads an athletic lifestyle, loves to go running, and believes there's nothing more soothing than a big smile, a good laugh, and finding a reason to do both.
Education:Anna Mantell attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Fl. on a pre-med track. Later, Anna attended the Kinley Institute for Holistic Medicine in Clark, N.J. where she became a Certified Massage Therapist. Anna attended the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy in Sarasota FL and earned her degree to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. For post-graduate work, she has attended classes on neuromuscular massage, myofacial release, lymphatic massage, prenatal and infant massage, active isolated stretching, hydro and helio therapy, reflexology, and sports massage.
Past Working Experience: Anna has worked for different chiropractic and wellness centers in Florida and New Jersey, and has been in private practice since 1987. Anna has also conducted prenatal massage for OBGYN offices in New York and New Jersey - and has practiced sports massage at running and cycling meets in Florida and New Jersey including the tour of Somerville and Midland Run.
Special Interests: Anna is married with three kids. She resides in Middlesex, N.J. and enjoys attending church, soccer and singing.
