She fell in love with yoga as a means of helping with stress while in undergraduate school and after 5 years of maintaining a personal practice she completed her 200-hour teacher training certification. Simultaneously, Kelly decided to attend the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in Manhattan to learn how to manage her digestive issues through food and diet. While at the school, she became a Certified Holistic Health Counselor and began to teach yoga and see clients privately to assist them on their journey to better health. After counseling clients in a private practice for a number of years, Kelly was hired as a Wellness Director for a global bank to develop wellness programming and services to support the employees in achieving healthier lifestyles and better work/life balance. After working there for a number of years, Kelly missed working with patients directly. She had a lot of personal success receiving acupuncture treatments for her digestive issues, that she decided she wanted to go back to school so that she could share this incredible medicine with more people. She moved across the country to Portland, Oregon to attend the top acupuncture school in the country. After graduating from acupuncture school, Kelly worked in a variety of settings, including the first and largest community acupuncture clinic in the country. After providing over 7,000 treatments to patients in Portland, Kelly decided it was time to move back to her home state of NJ to bring acupuncture to her family and community.

Kelly believes the body is a microcosm and that what is occurring out in nature around us is also happening within us. Kelly treats the whole person by applying Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles and Five Element Theory. Acupuncture and TCM are a complete medicine and can be used not only for healing acute issues like pain, but can be a wonderful basis from which to create a healthy and connected lifestyle. Kelly often finds that patients have the most gains in healing their physical challenges, when they integrate mental, emotional and spiritual healing in their process.

She is an avid hiker and loves to write and teach about Chinese Medicine and how to better connect with the natural rhythm of life.
